Who is responsible for your data

This website and the Slow Duo brand are operated by Evokomoribi (Dongguan) Technology Co., Ltd. of Dongguan, Guangdong, China. In this notice, "Slow Duo", "we" and "us" mean that company, and we are the controller of the personal data described here. The short version

• We collect the contact details you send us, and nothing else behind the scenes.
• We use them to answer your inquiry and to run our commercial relationship with you.
• There are no advertising or cross-site tracking pixels, and no other third-party scripts.
• One optional analytics cookie is offered, never required — it loads only if you accept.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
• You can ask us to correct or delete what we hold, and you can withdraw any consent at any time.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send. There is no tracking layer running underneath the site.

• Inquiry form. Company name, your name, business email, WhatsApp or phone number, country or market, business type, estimated quantity, and the message you write.
• Email and WhatsApp. Whatever you include in a message to us, together with the contact details attached to that message.
• Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention and availability.
• Analytics, only if you accept it. Which pages you view, the page you arrived from, and your approximate location, device type and browser. Google Analytics does not log your full IP address.

WhatsApp, specifically

WhatsApp is our main commercial channel, so it is worth being precise about how a WhatsApp message travels. When you message the Slow Duo business number, delivery runs through WhatsApp's infrastructure, operated by Meta Platforms. That means:

• Meta processes the message under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. We recommend reading WhatsApp's privacy terms before you use it.
• The message content, the number you write from and delivery details such as the time sent are visible to us.
• We keep the parts of a conversation that form a business record — your requirements, the terms we agree and the order details — because we need them to quote and to fulfil an order.
• We do not add your number to a marketing list or a broadcast group, and we do not sell or pass on WhatsApp contact lists.

Why we process it, and on what basis

• Answering your inquiry — our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, and steps you asked us to take before entering a contract.
• Quotes, samples and order records — performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before one is formed.
• Invoicing, tax and warranty records — our legal obligation to keep accounting records, and the contract itself.
• Security and abuse prevention — our legitimate interest in keeping the site and our systems available and safe.
• Measuring which pages buyers actually read, so we can improve them — your consent, and only when you accept the analytics cookie. You can withdraw it with one click at any time.
• Occasional product updates, where you opted in — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, these correspond to Article 6(1)(f), (b), (c) and (a) respectively. Where China's Personal Information Protection Law applies, processing rests on the necessity of performing a contract or on your consent, as set out above.

What we never do

• We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
• We do not use inquiry data for advertising or retargeting.
• We do not send marketing email without a separate, explicit opt-in.
• We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking pixels, and we never use analytics data to build advertising audiences.
• The only third-party script on this site is the Google Analytics tag, and it is not fetched until you accept it.

Cookies, analytics and your choice

This site needs no cookies to work. It offers one optional analytics cookie, and nothing is loaded or stored until you decide.

• Your consent choice — held in your browser's local storage under the key slowduo-consent. It contains only the word "granted" or "denied", holds no identifier whatsoever, and exists so that we do not ask you again. Because it is what honours your decision, it is not a tracking cookie.
• Google Analytics — only if you accept it. It sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_P7DC7JEH01, which remain in your browser for up to 2 years, and uses them to tell us which pages were read and how visitors arrived.

If you decline, the Google Analytics script is never fetched, no analytics cookie is written, and every part of the site — including the inquiry form and WhatsApp — works exactly the same. There is no dark pattern here: declining is a single click, and it is not hidden behind a second step.

You can change your mind at any time. This deletes the analytics cookies, withdraws consent, and reloads the page so you can choose again:

Change your cookie choice

We run no advertising pixels, no social plugins and no other third-party scripts. What we measure is limited to our own pages, in aggregate, and nothing we collect is shared with an advertising network.

Who processes your data

We keep this list short. Each provider processes data only on our instructions and under a data-processing agreement:

• Supabase — database hosting for inquiry records.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery, including the server logs described above.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — message delivery, as described above.
• Google LLC (Google Analytics) — page measurement, and only if you accepted it. Google handles this as our processor; we use no Google advertising products, so there is nothing to share with an ad network.
• Our email provider — handling of the mailbox you write to.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to professional advisers bound by confidentiality. If the business is ever restructured, data may transfer as part of that transaction under these same protections.

International transfers

We are based in China and our service providers operate globally, so your data may be stored or processed outside your own country, including outside the EEA and the UK — the United States among them, where Cloudflare and Google process data, and the regions our database provider uses. Where a transfer needs additional safeguards, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms, and we limit what moves to what the purposes above actually require.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries that never become orders — 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
• Customer and order records — for the life of the relationship and up to 7 years afterwards, to meet accounting, tax and warranty obligations.
• Server logs — for the limited retention window our hosting provider sets; we do not archive them ourselves.
• WhatsApp conversations — business records stay with the customer file; general chat is deleted once it stops being useful.
• Analytics, if you accepted — the analytics cookies stay in your browser for up to 2 years, or until you clear them or withdraw consent. User-level records are kept in Google Analytics for 14 months; after that only aggregate, non-identifying reports remain.

Your rights

Depending on where you are based, you may have the right to:

• know whether we hold data about you, and receive a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted where we no longer need it;
• restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
• receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
• withdraw consent at any time — for analytics, the "Change your cookie choice" button above does it immediately;
• lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Security

Inquiry data is held in an access-controlled database reachable only by our sales team, and transmitted over encrypted connections. The number of people with access is kept small and reviewed periodically. No system is perfect — if you believe your data has been exposed through us, tell us and we will investigate and notify you as required.

Who this site is for

This website is a business-to-business resource for trade buyers, distributors, retailers and brand owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when the site or our providers change. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes are flagged on this page rather than buried in it.
